Over the past few decades, implant dentistry has developed into a significant area of dentistry in the contemporary world. Prior to the late 1980s, only edentulous individuals could get dental implant therapy, which was performed by a group of specialised dentists at certain universities or dentistry centres. Dental implants were eventually used in partly edentulous patients as a result of advancements in implant material, design, and componentry.
